Rock Chip Repair

Rock chips can be repaired up to the size of a quarter and cracks up to 6″ in length. Location of the rock chip, plays a significant role in whether you should repair or replace your windshield.  Any rocks chips located anywhere near the black band around your windshield, are more likely to crack our during a repair. Due to it being closer to the edge of the glass, there’s less intact glass to absorb the pressure of the rock chip being filled.

Although the rock chip may appear cosmetically better, you will still see the rock chip from the interior of your windshield. The main purpose of a repair is to prevent it from spreading further.
